The Two Gardens - Being in Eden

Rather than depicting a place, these paintings explore two dimensions of consciousness held in relationship with one another — the soul's journey from separation towards wholeness.

As these paintings unfolded, they revealed something unexpected: the love, freedom and wholeness of the upper Garden began moving naturally towards the places of wounding carried within the lower, allowing what had long been held apart to return towards unity. One painting remembers Eden as it has always been. The other receives that remembrance into the places still asking to be healed.

Being in Eden glows with radiant yellows, lush greens, pale blues and lilacs, opening into a realm without story, where the soul remembers its original nature. Cleansing the Soul carries the same luminous palette through expressive, tender brushwork that gently releases what has long been carried. Created as a pair, the paintings offer a contemplative space where innocence and healing exist together, inviting the viewer into a quiet experience of restoration.
