Painting titled Becoming – One Harmonious Whole. A fine tapestry of single brushstrokes moves up and down the canvas. Soft turquoise, pale blue, olive green, lavender, blush pink and warm cream weave through the composition, interwoven with luminous droplets of yellow, white, coral, cobalt blue and lime green. Two large Hebrew Names of God emerge softly from within the layered field, one glowing yellow (Aleph Nun Yud) above and the other rose pink (Vav Hei Vav) below, appearing to arise naturally from the surrounding colours. The painting is a meditation on the underlying unity of creation, inviting contemplation of harmony, connection and the remembrance that all worlds are woven into one living whole.

Becoming One Harmonious Whole

Acrylic on canvas, 60cm x 50cm (23.6" x 19.7")

Becoming

The passage that inspired this painting is drawn from the Zohar, one of the foundational texts of Kabbalah. It reveals that beneath the appearance of separation, all dimensions of creation are already united within a single living reality. As this deeper harmony is remembered, the creative forces woven into life are free to move without obstruction, allowing the soul to participate more fully in the wholeness that has always existed.

English Translation

The letters Aleph Nun Yud and Vav Hei Vav ignite tremendous forces of energy that accomplish wonderful things. All the worlds are connected and unified into one harmonious whole.
